ABOUT VOZ CLOTHING
Voz Clothing & Art was created as a means of expressing life, culture, love for music and art through a universal theme. We at Voz believe in: positivity in diversity, karma, true hip hop, representing those with no voice, freedom of speech, the pursuit of happiness, artistic vision, the expression of unique talents, equality regardless, the mom and pop shop, and humor at all times. Our inspirations are many but include: Basquiat, Dondi, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, So Cal, Graffiti murals, our Mexican culture, Family, Suenos, Comida, Tradition, Bright colors, underground hip hop- Blackalicious, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Akwid, Dead Prez, Common, Dilated Peoples, Aesop Rock, Zap Mama, Jean Grae, K-os (to name a few).
Voz Clothing & Art calls itself a socially conscious clothing line and so uses environmentally sound and community based products and services whenever possible. Our designs are proudly printed on American Apparel Shirts - a sweatshop free vertically integrated company based in Los Angeles. Our shirts are then silk-screened by Homeboy Industries, which provides “Jobs not Jails” to at risk youths.
